Steam Engine

Locomotive 1727 is a class M-6 Mogul built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1901.
This engine sits at the entrance to the Dunsmuir City Park. Many people think that the Dunsmuir Recreation & Parks District has control of it. That is folklore. If you have any questions, contact the City of Dunsmuir. A little more information can be gleaned here: http://blog.theshortline.com/2011/06/
There is a plan to do a cosmetic restore on this engine.
